On Friday at 7.30pm picking up on the theme of the week
We offer something to invite family, friends and neighbours to, especially if they are not yet involved with church.
Ecclesiastes 3: 4a tells us there is - a time to weep and a time to laugh.
Our Friday Night Special guest this year, Paul Kerensa, will give us plenty of opportunities to laugh.
Paul is a Christian stand-up comedian thriving in the secular comedy scene. In addition to his own shows he’s recently written for The Royal Variety Performance, Miranda, Not Going Out, Top Gear and Buble at the BBC, and regularly contributes ‘Pause For Thoughts’ to Chris Evans’ BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
He has appeared at Spring Harvest, Keswick, New Wine, Green Belt and other major Christian Festivals, and will be sharing with us something of his own testimony and how it is to be a Christian in the entertainment world.
He brings to Keswick in Devon, his unique sense of fun, enabling us to look on the funny side of life in general and how our God-given sense of humour can help us to shine more brightly for Christ in today’s world. To finish you’ll have the chance to quiz Paul in his Q&A session.
Doors open at 7pm, seats cannot be reserved and although there is no ticket price, there will be a retiring collection.
