Our 2024 Guest Speakers

Esther Prior 

Esther describes herself as a disciple, a wife, a mother and vicar of St John’s Egham in Surrey.  She is married to Matt, and they have a son and daughter. Esther came to England from Zimbabwe for theological education in 1999. After two curacies, Esther served as a School Chaplain, a Young Offenders Prison Chaplain and a Team Vicar in Farnborough. Esther is passionate about the local church being a loving and growing community where God’s people are empowered and released to follow Jesus in their everyday lives: proclaiming and demonstrating the good news of Christ.  She loves cooking, reading, writing, Body Combat, travel and time with family. Esther will be speaking on the Old Testament book of Esther.

Nick Crawley 

Nick is an ordained Anglican clergyman with experience of ministry in Twickenham, Harare (Zimbabwe), Sheffield and Bristol, where he founded Crossnet church and was its leader until 2021. Nick is strongly committed to the ministries of the Word and the Spirit; he worked for The Filling Station from 2012 to 2018, and now runs ‘Bible for Life’, a web-based Bible teaching and discipling ministry. His wife Lucy Peppiatt is a Systematic Theologian and author, and currently Principal of Westminster Theological Centre. Nick enjoys
golf, photography and walking their dog Max. Nick will be speaking from the book of Acts.
